Drama Club



Mrs. Bonnie Beth Ingram


     Mrs. Ingram is a 1981 graduate from Carthage High School.  She attended Barbizon School of Modeling in Houston, Texas.  She is a member of First Baptist Church in Carthage where she is an active member of the adult choir and has been directing children's choir for over 30 years.  She is also a member of the gospel group "Higher Ground."  She is married to Lonnie Ingram.  They have two daughters Julianna and Christina.

Drama Club is an organization that meets monthly for grades 9-12.  The objective of Drama Club is to expose high school students to musical drama.  "We present a musical each spring."

Thoroughly Modern Millie

The Leake Academy Drama Club presented the Brodway musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie on Thursday, April 10, and Friday April 11, in the Leake Academy auditorium.  

Thoroughly Modern Millie is set in 1922 New York City.  Millie, a pragmatist who dreams big, arrives in NYC looking for success.  The drama that follows exposes a web of entangled comical episodes which lead to an entertaining evening which ends with a surprise.
