Dear Leake Academy Family:
I can't believe we have only nine weeks left in this school year. It has really flown by.
I want to use this month's letter to remind everyone of the annual PTO Spring Meeting on March 21 at 7:00 P.M. This is the most important meeting we as the Leake Academy family hold each year. It is your opportunity to share your views, questions, and concerns with the Board and Administration. It is also your opportunity to elect three members to represent you on the Board of Directors. Each and every family is given a vote, and it is important that you exercise that right. I hope you will take this opportunity to come out and help shape the future of YOUR school.
I also want to express our congratulations to the Leake Academy Lady Rebel Basketball team on winning another MAIS State AA title. This championship gives our lady basketball program six State Championships in a row. That is unprecedented. Thanks for your dedication and hard work.
In closing, I leave you with this from Franois de Salignac de la Monthe Fenelson: "Should we feel at times disheartened and discouraged, a confiding thought, a simple movement of hearts towards God will renew our powers. Whatever He may demand of us, He will give us at the moment the strength and the courage that we need".
