Leake Academy
Third Grade
 Maria Sisson is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a Masters degree in Elementary Education. She has been teaching for nineteen years. This is her fourth year at LA. She is married to Jim Sisson, and they have three children--John Forest (10th grade), Adrienne (7th grade), and Sydney (2ndgrade). They reside in Neshoba County and attend Cooks Chapel Methodist Church.

I am a 1986 graduate of Leake Academy. I graduated from ECJC with an Associate Degree in Art Education and from Mississippi State University with a B. S. degree in Elementary Education and Art.
I am married to Tim May, a 1985 graduate if L.A., who works for West Engineering of Houston, Texas, as a Sub-sea engineer consultant. We reside in the Rosebud community and are members of Standing Pine Baptist Church.
Our daughter, Kristen, and our son-in-law, Justin Perry, are both 2007 graduates of L.A. Our son, Drew May, is currently a tenth grade student at L.A. We have one grandson, Jonathan Lee Perry.
I enjoy playing the piano at church, photography, watching Drew rodeo, and being Jonathan's Mimi. This will be my eighth year teaching elementary, and I am thrilled to be "coming home" to teach at L.A.
