I graduated from ECCC and MUW, taught two years at Decatur, got my Master's from MSU, then taught second grade at Lake Elementary for 31 years . My husband, Bruce, and I live on a cattle farm between Lake and Forest. We have three daughters, Amanda, married to Mike Skinner. They have two girls, Aubrie and Anna Claire. Our second daughter, Laura, has just received her Master's at Wesley Biblical Seminary. Our third daughter, Marcia, married to Marty Grant, teaches second grade in Brandon. I just finished teaching my first year at Leake Academy and loved it! This is a great place to work.

My name is Christy Wade. I am from Carthage. I am a graduate of Mississippi State University. This is my ninth year teaching. I have taught Gifted and Kindergarten. My husband is Jason Wade. We have two children, Grace Ann a second grade student at Leake Academy and McKinley a K4 student. I am a member of Midway Baptist Church.

We have two children: Taylor, who attends East Central Community College; and Austin, who is a senior here at Leake Academy. I have taught three-year-old kindergarten at First Baptist Church and First Methodist Church in Philadelphia. I am enjoying being the assistant in K-4 here at Leake Academy."
