Leake Academy

The sixth grade recently participated in a flag burning ceremony. Mr. Joe Addy of Newton conducted the ceremony; each student received a piece of the flag and was able to burn it at the appointed time. After the burning, Mr. Addy buried some of the ashes of the flag near the flagpole. The sixth graders hope to place a marker on the place of burial. The sixth graders have replaced the old flag with a new one.
