Tenth Grade CPR Check-offs
Mrs. Sudduth has been instructing the A and P classes on both adult and pediatric lay rescuer CPR. The students have learned signs of a heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke, and choking in adults. They have also learned signs of breathing emergencies and choking in infants and children. They have learned rescuer skills in CPR, use of an AED (automated external defibrillator), and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction. Many thanks to Denise Hawkins, Erin Noblin, and Donna Gilmer from Sta-Home Health Agency for coming to do check-offs.
