Halloween Carnival 2009

Leake Academy celebrated another successful Halloween Carnival Saturday, October 31, 2009. The month long fundraiser sponsored by the PTO brought in a total of $158,153.98 with a net total of $145,153.98. Proceeds from the carnival benefit the school in making improvements, expansions, purchasing necessary classroom equipment, etc. Sherry Tubby, PTO president, and Jerry Crowe, headmaster, express their sincere appreciation to patrons for their hard work during the month of October.

Reed Young and Hannah Mae Harrell representing Mrs. Diane Jones's and Mrs. Cindy Blocker's classes won the kindergarten division.

Rhett Kyzar and Allyson Crocker representing Mrs. Maria Sisson's and Mrs. Susan Sturdivant's third grade classes won 1st-3rd grades.
