The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Pennies for Patients runs for three weeks between February and March. For the three weeks of your choosing students collect and donate spare change.
All money raised will help support lifesaving research and services for patients. LLS is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research while improviong the quality of life of patients and their families.
Leake Academy elementary students raised a total of $713.24. Mrs. Breazeale's class raised $152.60, which was the highest total for the pizza party.
