Mississippi History Firsts
On Thursday April 5 the ninth grade Mississippi History students were able to "have their cake and eat it too!" Students decorated a cake in the shape of the state of Mississippi. Each part decorated was edible! After labeling items such as the Mississippi River and the Natchez Trace Parkway, students enjoyed a slice of their Mississippi cake project. They washed their cake down with a delicious bottled coke. As you know, coke was first bottled in Vicksburg. As you can imagine, the students really enjoyed this project.
