Leake Academy senior running back Justin Sturdivant wrapped up his high school football career at Robinson-Hale Stadium on the campus of Mississippi College on Thursday, December 8, 2005. He was selected as an All-Star player for the north-half team. The north team won 28-7 where Sturdivant saw playing time on offense and defense as well as special teams. On offense, Sturdivant had 26 yards on 5 carries at tailback, which was right on course with his high school career at Leake Academy where he averaged just over 5 yards per carry. Sturdivant led the Rebels rushing attack his junior and senior years with 632 yards and 1066 yards respectively. He finished his career at Leake Academy with 2316 yards on 396 attempts with 30 touchdowns. We congratulate Justin Sturdivant on his successful career.
